Privacy Policy – Watch Games: Wear OS Hub
Last updated: 21 October 2026
This policy covers Watch Games: Wear OS Hub
(com.watchgames.hub), including games played inside the Hub.
“We” means the developer responsible for this app, identified in its
Google Play listing.
Separately installed games have their own privacy policies.
For Wrist Rally 3D, see its
separate privacy policy.
1. Information handled by the Hub
Local gameplay data
Vortex Paddle and Chrono Drift save local leaderboard entries on your watch. These include a player alias, score, and the time of the entry. The last-used alias is also saved. These leaderboards are not online leaderboards: the Hub does not upload these entries or aliases. Other active game state is held in memory while you play.
Game availability and launching
The Hub checks whether supported standalone games, such as Wrist Rally 3D, are installed so it can show their availability and offer an open action. Where a game's configuration supplies a signing certificate, the Hub can check that certificate locally. It does not request a complete inventory of all apps on your watch. A supported game's availability or launch status can be included in the usage events described below.
Usage analytics and diagnostic logs
The Hub includes Google Analytics for Firebase. When analytics is active, it sends usage events to Google to help us understand catalog use and improve the Hub. These events include app opens, catalog views and selections, game availability checks, game launches, install/open actions, and interactions with the “Coming soon” notice, including dismissing it with “Got it”. Rotary input direction can also be recorded. Event details can include game and developer identifiers, distribution type, launch status, visible item counts, and a session identifier based on the session start time. Developer identifiers identify game publishers, not player accounts.
Firebase can also process app-instance identifiers, device and app information (such as operating system, model, version, and language), usage/session information, and approximate geographic information derived from the network connection. Advertising identifier collection depends on device availability, permissions, and Firebase settings. This is not GPS tracking. The Hub does not send your local leaderboard alias or scores as custom analytics events.
Event names and parameters are also written to Android diagnostic logs on the device. The Hub does not include a separate crash-reporting upload service.
No player account or in-app payment processing
The Hub does not require a player account or collect login credentials. Unavailable games show a “Coming soon” notice with a “Got it” button. Dismissing this notice does not register interest, join a waitlist, start a trial, collect an email address, or create a subscription. The Hub does not process in-app purchases, payment card details, or purchase tokens.
The Hub does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone, photos, precise device location, or health and fitness data. It does not display third-party advertisements or include an advertising SDK.
2. How information is used and disclosed
Local data supports gameplay and on-device leaderboards. Availability checks support game discovery and launching. Usage analytics helps us understand interactions and improve the app. We do not sell personal information.
Google processes analytics information when Firebase is active. See Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information. Google may process information on servers outside your country. Opening Google Play or another app takes you to a separate service governed by its own privacy practices; installing the Hub does not install those games.
3. Retention and deletion
Each local leaderboard keeps up to 60 of the most recent entries, plus the last-used alias. These remain in app storage until replaced by later entries or removed by clearing the Hub's app storage or uninstalling it. Removing the Hub does not remove a separately installed game's data. The Hub disables Android app backup. Android manages the lifetime of device diagnostic logs.
Analytics information sent to Google is subject to the retention settings of the associated Analytics property and Google's applicable service policies; event-level data and aggregated reports may have different retention periods. Clearing app storage or uninstalling does not itself delete information already sent to Google.
For a privacy or deletion request, use the contact route below. We can only act on information we can reasonably associate with you; there is no Hub account linking your identity to an analytics identifier. The Hub has no in-app analytics opt-out control. Changing advertising ID settings is not the same as disabling all analytics.
4. Security and your rights
Local app data is held in Android's app-specific storage. Firebase uses encrypted connections for analytics transmission. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of personal information, object to processing, or complain to your data protection authority. Contact us to make a request. If you contact us voluntarily, your email provider and ours process that correspondence; we use the contact details and information you provide to respond and handle your request, retaining it as needed for that purpose and applicable legal obligations.
5. Children's privacy
The Hub does not ask players for their age or date of birth. If you are a parent or guardian concerned about information relating to a child, contact us using the details below so we can investigate and address the request under applicable law.
6. Contact and policy updates
For privacy questions or requests, including deletion requests, email [email protected]. For general support, email [email protected].
Always specify the product your message concerns (for example, “Watch Games: Wear OS Hub” and, if relevant, the built-in game) and describe your request. Do not send passwords or payment details.
Updates will be published at https://watch-games.2ndstarright.com/privacy/ with a revised date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before changing how information is used.
